Thank you all for joining us today. Our company, TRUE Reflections, was built upon the values of honesty, integrity, and truth. In 2007, our founding board members came together to bring both men and women a product that reflects our company standards and their true image.
Though a relatively new company, we’ve already received six JD Power and Associates Customer Gold Star Awards. Our patrons have been blown away by the quality and durability of our product, and I am convinced you will be too. TRUE Reflections… bringing honesty back to the forefront.

Marketing Director: Logos
In addition to the obvious advantages of our product, the potential profit is undeniable. TRUE Reflections uses environmentally friendly materials and state-of-the-art technology in the production of our mirrors. We keep our costs at a minimum by using local resources and employing quality workers from our very own community. Each mirror costs $17.23 to produce and at a sales price of $49.95, we are looking at a profit of over $30 per mirror.

We can sell our amazing mirror to individual households, apartment complexes, hotels, clothing stores, and more. The options are limitless and so is our potential for profit. Honestly… the choice is simple… invest in TRUE Reflections.
Advertising Director: Read the instructions below to get information about your role.

Practical Persuasion

President: You will write and speak about your company’s credibility. Your main appeal is ethos… You want people and customers to trust you and to feel as though they can relate to your brand. Talk about how you started and how you came up with the idea. (Remember, this is a made up company… so feel free to embellish a bit.) You will reveal your company’s symbol and slogan. (Think Nike check mark and “Just do it!”)
Vice President: You are trying to appeal to customer and client emotions. You want them to get excited or have a vested interest in your product and company. Pathos. You will also introduce your product and discuss what is so special/ unique about it. (remember glittering generalities)
Marketing Director: Your job is to appeal to logos. You are bringing in the logical, factual, statistical side of things. You will talk cost and profit and what really makes your product make sense. What makes it different from other products out there, and why is it worth purchasing?
Advertising Director: Your job is to discuss the type of commercial being shown. What type of propaganda will be used as well as who the target audience is? How are you appealing to your customers? What creative approach are you taking to showcase your product?

***There are two parts to this project. The written and spoken presentation will be an individual grade. The actual commercial and “company” dynamic will be a group grade.***
